The Sulphurous mineral-medicinal water in the Averroes Spring is of volcanic origin, originating in the depths of the earth. It has been declared MINERAL-MEDICINAL AND FIT FOR PUBLIC USE by the Ministry of Health. The Averroes Spring is located on the eastern edge of the Pyrenees. Water from the spring is extremely pure, with low mineralization and a very high silica content. Bacteria of the sulphur cycle, nascent sulphur, and silicon all act synergistically, thus exponentially increasing the antioxidant and anti-free radical properties of the water.
